The letters were written before and at last nights hugely successful 'No 3rd Runway' Meeting in Chiswick by Residents of Chiswick and the wider West London area. The CHATR 'post people; were Hamish Pringle and Graham & Bronia Blakoe.

The letters were received by local West London MPs Rupa Huq (Acton & Ealing) and Ruth Cadbury (Brentford & Isleworth - which includes Chiswick).  This enabled the letters to be inserted directly into the Prime Ministers parliamentary mail box in the House of Commons.
